Year End 1099 Update Available

The following features are updated with this IRD (Interim Release Download)

  • Form 1099-DIV changes

  • Form 1099-MISC changes

  • Updated Form 1099 Tax Reporting version

  • Functionality change of where the 1099 DBA Name field in Vendor Maintenance prints on the 1099 Form (only applicable for IRD compatible with Sage 100 2022 and Sage 100 2021)

  • W2 is not impacted by this IRD

Note: The 2022 IRD is compatible and applicable for the following versions:

  • Sage 100 2022.0 – 2022.2 (7.10.0 – 7.10.2)

  • Sage 100 2021.3 – 2021.5 (7.00.3 – 7.00.5)

  • Sage 100 2020.5 – 2020.6 (6.20.5 – 6.20.6)

If you are not using one of the above version we should discuss your options and if an upgrade is in order.


The download is available from Customers.SageNorthAmerica.com.

Accounting Technology is also offering a new report for 1099 information. You simply pick which year and whether you would like non-1099 vendors to be included in the report. It will list your vendors, which form, tax id, total check amount for the year, and compares accumulated totals from 1099 file information that currently would be reported during 1099 processing. This allows you to easily analyze variances and discrepancies prior to processing 1099s through Aatrix.
